UNDER PRESSURE—Fazili

Silver Strikers Coach Lovemore Fazili has heaped praises on hat-trick hero Michael Tetteh after his side defeated Karonga United 4-1 in a TNM Super League match at Silver Stadium on Sunday.

Tetteh netted a hat-trick on his return from a loan spell at Mzuni. His performance delighted Fazili and the club’s fans showered him with money.

Fazili said the Ghanaian striker has earned his position in the team.

“It was a good move for him to go out on loan because he had game-time at Mzuni. I am happy with his contribution to the team and he worked hard throughout. This is good for us as we fight for the league championship,” he said.

After the match, Tetteh broke into tears of joy as he celebrated the victory.

Silver are second on the log table with 50 points from 25 games, two points behind leaders Nyasa Big Bullets, who have played 22 games.

Be Forward Wanderers are third with 45 points from 22 games.
