Silver Strikers will host Nyasa Big Bullets in a Fisd Challenge Cup quarter-final at Bingu National Stadium, Lilongwe, on Saturday.
This follows a quarter-finals fixture released by Football Association of Malawi (Fam) Monday indicating match venues and dates.
In other last eight matches, defending champions Be Forward Wanderers entertain Southern Region Football Association Premier Division side, Hangover United, at Kamuzu Stadium on Friday.
Savenda Chitipa United take on Kamuzu Barracks at Mzuzu Stadium on Saturday.
The quarter-finals phase will be completed on Sunday when Blue Eagles date Moyale Barracks at Civo Stadium.
Fam Director of competitions, Gomezgani Zakazaka, said they were expecting entertaining and competitive matches following mouthwatering clashes in the round-of-16.
“As Fam, we are very happy with the progress of the cup. So far teams have been solid and ruthless. We hope that we will have good matches this weekend,” he said.
Silver will play Bullets on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Silver Coach, Abasi Makawa, said dating Bullets was a huge task but promised to approach the game cautiously.
“This a real test for us. It will be a tough game as Bullets are doing well even in league games. Everyone in our camp is aware of the importance of this match,” he said.
On his part, Bullets Assistant Coach, Peter Mponda, said beating Silver would not be an easy task.
“When we beat Karonga United we knew that we will face Silver. It is a big game and we need to prepare well. We have never won this cup and it is our wish to grab it this year,” he said.
