Silver Strikers replica kits in next month

TNM Super League side Silver Strikers has said the first consignment of the replica kits is expected to arrive in the country by March 10.
Silver Chief Executive Officer Thokozani Chimbali confirmed Thursday that all logistical arrangements were at an advanced stage.
“The replica kits are of high quality and we hope the fans will appreciate the quality. We expect to get 1,000 replica jerseys that will be sold at less than K15, 000 but the actual price will be communicated once the materials has arrive,” he added.
However, Chimbali could not disclose manufacturer of the replicas.
Previously, Silver had a contract with Nsejjere Holdings Limited to supply them with sets of uniforms and replica kits.
But the club had several challenges in selling the replica kits to the supporters.
Silver Supporters Chairperson Kingsley Malaya said the fans were anxiously waiting for the kits.
“We are ready to support the club by buying the products. We hope that the quality will be good,” Malaya said.
Towards the end of last year, Silver also unveiled some products including branded caps.
Recently, city rivals Civil Service United and Savenda Chitipa United unveiled their replica kits.
Both clubs indicated that they had received overwhelming response from the fans and the public.
Some of the fans have hailed both Civil and Chitipa for unveiling quality products to the market.
