SILVER Strikers football club have received a big boost as red-hot Green Harawa returned to training ahead of the TNM Super League tough encounter against Be Forward Wanderers on Saturday at Silver Stadium in Lilongwe.
Harawa has netted 12 goals in this campaign, one adrift of current leading goal scorer, Innocent Bokosi.
In the absence of the former Blackpool striker, the Central Bankers have failed to register a victory in four consecutive games.
In an interview on Wednesday, Silver assistant coach, Lovemore Fazili, said the pint-sized forward returned to full-time training on Tuesday and could be available for selection on Saturday.
“Our preparations are going on smoothly and the good news is that Green is fit to play. He is one of our key players and he will give us strength upfront,” Fazili said.
The Central Bankers have gone five consecutive games without a win. They drew against Fisd Wizards, Red Lions and Airborne Rangers.
However, Fazili was confident of returning to winning ways against another struggling side, Nomads, who have gone three games without a win.
Defender Wonder Geremani has also started training but captain Lucky Malata is a major doubt due to injury.
The Nomads have only won a single game in the second round of the TNM Super League.
Silver are third on the log table with 39 points from 25 games whereas Nomads have 32 points after playing 22 games.
