Simeon Tcheta, Felix Mwamaso in non-title bout
Renowned middleweight boxers, Simeon Tcheta and Felix Mwamaso, will exchange punches in a non-title fight on June 3 in Lilongwe.
Ngwenyama Boxing Promotions has organised the bout which will take place at M1 Centre Point along M1 Road.
Tcheta, who has in his career won eight bouts, drawn and lost once, was defeated by Chimwemwe Chiotcha at the same venue earlier this year.
Tcheta has since vowed to bounce back.
“I am going for a win in this fight. I am not taking it for granted. I promise my fans that I will win. They should come in large numbers to support me,” he said.
Mwamaso, who has won eight bouts, lost 10 and drawn once, said he was also looking for a win.
“I know that it would not be a simple fight but I promise my fans that I will win,” he added.
Ngwenyama official, Arnold Kambwiri, has urged fans to patronise the bout.
In the main supporting bout, Bryson Gwayani will face Juma Jack, Malani Kayuni will take on Alexander Likande, Kudakwache Banda faces Roy Yuda, Alick Mwenda dates Lewis Nkhata and Horace Kazembe will exchange blows with Undo Chidzanja.
