Skeffa pushes on

Skeffa Chimoto and Real Sounds Band will this weekend hold two shows in Lilongwe.
The two shows will see him coming face to face with 6 Solid Band, Emmanuel Kambanje better known as Manzy of the ‘Maloto Sang’amba’ fame and Twin M of ‘Ndizifinyika’ hit.
The first show is tomorrow at M1 Centre Point in Lilongwe before invading B Square on Sunday.
Skeffa said Thursday he was ready to entertain people once again having been out of the stage for some time due to Covid -19 pandemic.
“We have rehearsed and we are ready. We missed the stage and we are happy to be back. In all the shows we are sensitising people about Covid-19 pandemic and we are also following the necessary precautionary measures,” Skeffa said.
The shows in Lilongwe come barely a week after Skeffa also shared the stage with Manzy and Twin M in Dowa and Mzimba last weekend.
Dubbed Kankha Music shows, Skeffa has used the shows to talk about his single ‘Kankha’ (Push) which he premiered recently in Lilongwe.
The artist is also set to launch the song in Blantyre.
In the song, Skeffa calls on people to keep on pushing in their various work.
“I will keep on promoting this song because the idea is for all of us to work hard in our respective sectors. Hard work pays always and at the same time I just want to encourage the youth to make hay while the sun is shining, work hard in their studies and again if you don’t do well, it does not mean that you cannot make it in life,” Skeffa said.
He said he was happy with the response he has received so far as regards the song.
