Smacks plans to drop Extended Playlist

Youthful urban artist Smacks has said all is set for release of his Extended Playlist (EP) whose proceeds will go towards construction of his mother’s house.
The five-track project is titled Smacks Diary.
Some of the songs that have made the grade in the EP include ‘After 8’, ‘Undibwenzele’, ‘Zolowe’ and ‘Mama’ ,a song dedicated to his mother and all women.
Smacks is also geared to drop a music video for the track titled ‘Kodo’, which features Leslie.
The ‘Undipweteka’ star said it has been a long journey working on the EP and that he is happy that it is finally ready for the market.
“But, before that, I thought I should release a music video ‘Kodo’. This is a love song where two people are appreciating each other,” he said.
On his mother’s house project, Smacks said he just thought it wise to use the proceeds from the EP to work on the project.
“I lost my father years back and, being the first born son in the family, I have taken all the responsibility of a father. So, I started the construction way back but it has been moving at snail’s pace due to inadequate funds,” he said.
Smacks said the EP might not manage to raise the money he is looking for but will also be looking at other ways.
“I just want to call upon people to support me by buying the EP once it is out. Their support will mean helping me finish my mother’s house in Ekwendeni,” he said.
Smacks’ other recent projects include ‘Nkamwana’ and ‘Wayaka Moto’, in which he collaborated with Dan Lu.
