Soldier Lucius Banda has postponed the premiere of his music video ‘Ndinu Yemweyo’ which was scheduled for Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe on July 31 to next month.
Lucius, who has been out of the stage since last year due to illness, said, due to rising cases of Covid, he had no choice but to postpone it.
“We just could not go ahead, especially with the situation at the moment. We wanted to go with the restriction of less than 50 people in one place but we saw to it that this would not be appropriate especially because so many people wanted to come,” the ‘Mabala’ star said.
Lucius said they have shifted the premiere to end next month with the hope that the situation will have normalised.
“But we have a live virtual music video premiere on Zodiak Television and my online page,” he said.
Lucius first released the audio for ‘Ndinu Yemweyo’, a track in which he exalts God for his love and favour as well as healing mercies.
The musician said last month that he is also planning free concerts to thank people for their support.
