South Africa-based artist to drop new album

The country’s South Africa-based reggae dancehall musician Khillaz Champian is set to release his new album titled Ruling Town next month.

His record label, DversCT Records indicated that the 10-track Ruling Town, will be released on September 4 2020.

“I am proud that this album is being handled by this record label,” Champian said.

The album has been produced by one of Cape Town’s native producer Lasoul, Gaffar at Blackayard Records, Red Disk Music, Taff B, Zimbabwean Dj Mashy and SOD of Spywaves Records.

The collection also features other artists including the country’s dancehall star Ka sir Blanca, Luda Spark, Dafaith, Earnestar Chronicles, King Jericho, Big Smoke, Bouncer G31, Stylie C, Ddizzy, Young D, Jeromy and Kid Inferno.

Meanwhile, Champian has released a promotional track off the album titled ‘I Like Yo Skin’.

“This is a love song going to my loved one who made me fall in love and I am asking her to be my wife because I like her skin and body,” he said.

The song was produced by Sithe of Overstay Production and Gaffar of Blakyard Records.

Other songs in the album are ‘Take Your Time’, featuring DaFaith, ‘Kush’, ‘Paper’, ‘Wowowo’ featuring Earnestar Chronicles, Luda Spark, King Jericho, Jeromy and DdiZzy and ‘Answer Di Call’.

The musician said the album will be digitally sold on Spotify and Deezer as well as be available on YouTube.
