Sports Complex ‘unplugs’ Valentine Friday
Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and, regardless of whether one is single or taken, events tooling the Valentine’s Day theme will be taking place in the next four days.
Not to be outdone, the College of Medicine Sports Complex is Friday evening hosting patrons to an acoustic night in collaboration with Cre8ive Ent. The event is dubbed ‘Valentine Unplugged Night’.
For the next couple of months, Sports Complex will be partnering with Cre8ive Ent on a string of events and ‘Valentine Unplugged Night will be the first show the two will be hosting at the Breezer bar today night.
The event will feature a live acoustic set by celebrated artist Piksy, spoken-word poet Yankho Seunda and others.
Cre8ive Ent public relations Manager, Upile Malenga, said in an interview that the event would also feature karaoke, thereby giving patrons an opportunity to see if they are Malawi’s next big talent as they go head to head with the Mic.
A statement from the organisers indicates that Cre8ive Ent. wants to change the events management landscape in Malawi.
