Football Association of Malawi (Fam) has disclosed that the association will start inspecting stadia before the season kicks off on February 26.
Fam Club Licencing and Compliance Manager Casper Jangale said Dedza and Rumphi stadia were new on their list to be inspected.
“We are almost set to start inspecting the stadia and we are hopeful that this will work according to our plan. We have arranged a meeting this weekend with all Super League clubs to see how they are preparing for the new season,” Jangale said.
Meanwhile, TNM Super League new comers Rumphi United General Secretary Jones Mackton has said they have notified Super League of Malawi that they will be using Rumphi Stadium as their home ground.
“We have been working hand-in-hand with Rumphi District Council to ensure that the ground should be certified fit. We have no doubt that people of Rumphi District will watch their team at home,” said Mackton, whose side emerged champions in the Northern Region Football Association Premier Division.
On the other hand, Dedza Dynamos have opted to use Dedza Stadium for their home matches this forthcoming season.
Most Super League clubs regrouped last week but Sulom is yet to release fixtures for the new season.
