Standard Bank hails customers
Standard Bank says it is impressed with the feedback it has received from its customers using its electronic money transfer platforms.
Head of Branch Banking at Standard Bank, Andrew Santhe, said this on the sidelines of the Cash Back promotion held at Chipiku in Blantyre on Friday.
He said the bank has seen more people using their Visa cards, signaling confidence that customers have in the bank.
“We have achieved a lot through the promotion. In terms of our transactions, we have seen an increase and customers seem are excited with our Point of Sale platforms,” he said.
Looking ahead, Santhe said the bank plans to introduce more products and services.
He touted positive performance registered successes in the year ending, citing an accolade of the bank of the year received from the Banker Magazine in London.
And third winner in the promotion, Linda Newa, commended Standard Bank for the promotion which she said has helped to ensure safety of in handling money.
