Gospel musician Stevie Wazisomo Muliya will on Sunday hold what he dubs the Zisomo Gospel Celebration at Robin’s Park in Blantyre.
Muliya, who has impressed during his live acts, said the event has been organised to celebrate his 10 years of ministering both as a preacher as well as a musician.
“I have now clocked 10 years in the ministry and that is as a preacher but also as a musician. This is why I thought I should celebrate this in a special way by holding an event,” he said.
Muliya said during the event, people will see something different adding that he has prepared very well.
“It’s been long but I thank God for always guiding me. I have worked hard and always strived to do my best as a musician and I am happy that others have even gone on to call me a stage wizard and that is just a testimony that I am growing,” said the gospel musician.
With gospel shows now bringing nothing different but the usual with huge line-ups as if they are festivals, Muliya insisted that this would be a unique show.
“Let me not say much but I just want to call upon people to come in large numbers and be part of the celebration,” he said.
During the celebration, the gospel musician will share the stage with among others Thocco Katimba, Princess Chitsulo, Favoured Martha, Marvellous Deeds, King James Phiri, Ndirande Anglican Voices and Ethel Kamwendo Banda.
The musician also hailed Rab Processors for supporting the celebration which will see him giving out some items as well as free Wazisomo T-shirts.
Muliya has a Zikomo album to his credit which has songs such as ‘Mulinane Cholinga,’ ‘Ndizotheka,’ ‘Palibe Woposa Yesu,’ and ‘Mwayenera.’
