Youthful artist Suffix, real name Aubrey Ghambi, is expected to fly the country’s flag in Zambia where he will perform at the Extravagant Glory live concert.
The live concert will take place on June 8 2019.
Suffix, who on Saturday joined artists such as David Kalilani and Kelvin Sings performing at the Expo Breeze at The Polytechnic Ground in Blantyre, said he was looking forward to star in Zambia and share the stage with other acts.
“I am excited to perform in Zambia and at the same time having an opportunity to share the stage with other well-known artists,” he said.
Some of the artists Suffix is expected to share the stage with are Abel Chungu, Ephraim, Pompi, Nyasha Njovu, Sticka, Olivia, James Sakala, Mweshi Mulusa and Esther Chungu.
“It is always exciting for an artist to have such opportunities because you get that chance to reach out to a different audience and at the same time you also get to network with others. This is also part of ministering the word of God,” Suffix said.
The artist, who has collaborated with musicians such as Faith Mussa, has an album to his credit titled Before I Sleep.
The Lilongwe-based musician said he was not in a hurry to work on another album but will be dropping new singles soon.
“I am still giving Before I Sleep enough time for people to enjoy it but new songs will come out. I am happy with the progress I have made and God is doing wonders for sure,” Suffix said.
On his performance at the Expo Breeze, Suffix said it was another platform to worship God.
“It was all about thanking God for all the things He does for us and we had such a wonderful time singing for the Lord,” he said.
