Sulom explains logo
Super League of Malawi (Sulom) has insisted that its logo is not similar to that of English Premier League (EPL) giants, Manchester United.
Ahead of the TNM Super League season kick-off, the social media has been awash with debate on the supposed similarities between the two logos.
However, Sulom General Secretary, Williams Banda, Friday insisted that there was nothing as they adopted the new logo last season.
“Our logo cannot be similar to that of Manchester United. Ours has a football and pitch in the background,” Banda insisted.
The United logo also has two footballs located sideways whereas the Sulom logo has one.
However, some fans on the social media feel that Sulom modelled its logo on that of United.
