Sunbird hosts Wedding Expo
Sunbird Hotels and Resorts on Saturday hosted the first ever Sunbird Wedding Expo at Sunbird Capital in Lilongwe.
The expo attracted over 100 couples and 40 wedding service providers who exhibited their products.
Sunbird Head of Sales, Marketing and Distribution Temwa Kanjadza said the firm intends to make the Sunbird Wedding Expo an annual event.
She said the objective of the expo is to provide a platform to wedding service providers to showcase their products to couples that are planning to get married.
“The Sunbird group has various unique wedding venues in city hotels as well as lake and mountain resorts. The wedding packages are complemented by delectable four course lunch or dinner menus and complimentary venue and honeymoon suites for the newlyweds.
“In addition, we offer romantic destination honeymoon packages at the lake and mountain resorts that provide one of the best honeymoon experiences in Malawi,” Kanjadza said.
She added that the next Sunbird Wedding Expo will take place on April 15 2023 at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre.
“Wedding service providers are encouraged to book a stall and the deadline is April 10 2023,” Kanjadza said.
Systec Entertainment Managing Director Shadrick Nsanja hailed Sunbird for organising the event.
According to Nsanja, the event will help in enlightening Malawians on who provides what service in the wedding arena.
Musician Faith Mussa spiced up the event.
