Sunbird Hotels Golf tees off
In a bid to interact with the corporate community, Sunbird Tourism Limited has organised a Sunbird Hotels and Resorts Annual Golf Tournament.
The opening two-day round of the tournament tees off at Blantyre Sports Club from today followed by the grand final on May 1 at the same venue.
In a statement, Sunbird Tourism Limited Group Sales and Marketing Manager, Levie Nkunika, said they want to use the competition as a platform for appreciating their clients’ changing needs.
“We are going to take the opportunity to communicate to them on some of the new products we are bringing on the market including refurbishment of some of our hotel properties,” Nkunika said.
The tournament will have men’s and women’s categories.
The men’s category will have 32 teams of two players making, whereas the ladies’ category has 16 players. The qualifier for men is a four-ball better ball stable ford where as the ladies will play individual stable ford.
BSC Captain Sam Mwale, said they appreciate Sunbird Tourism’s support towards golf at the club.
