Sunbird in festive fun

As the year 2017 draws to an end and most people are contemplating on how to spend the forthcoming Christmas holiday, Sunbird Hotels and Resorts has come out with a number of activities.

The leading hospitality chain has a number of activities to spice up the festive season.

After the symbolic Christmas tree lighting in all its eight hotels and resorts on December 1 2017, the chain is hosting a number of activities, including Sunbird Children’s Parties that include the treasure hunt, Karaoke, jumping castle, dancing, gift presentation and oxcart riding.

Children’s Christmas Parties will be at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre today, Sunbird Capital on December 23, Sunbird Mzuzu on December 23, Sunbird Ku Chawe on December 22 and Sunbird Nkopola on December 25.

The children parties start at 11am.

The children’s parties will be strengthened by a visit from Father Christmas, as well as games, competitions and enough snacks to go around.

This is one of the best events to take the kids aged between 6 and 13 years old for some fun and entertainment.

For the older crowd, Sunbird has not forgotten to include fun and entertainment suited to them, starting with Christmas Eve buffet dinners at Sunbird Mount Soche, Sunbird Lilongwe, Sunbird Livingstonia Beach in Salima, Sunbird Nkopola in Mangochi and Sunbird Ku Chawe in Zomba on December 24.

On Christmas Day, Sunbird will treat its guests to special luncheons across the group while resorts such as Sunbird Livingstonia and Sunbird Nkopola will have an array of activities for its visitors, including beachside games, a poolside braai at Sunbird Nkopola and even boat tours.

The Vincent’s Restaurant offers up market finest dining experience in Lilongwe and has a special Christmas menu.
