Sunbird opens Chileka eatery
Catering solutions, a subsidiary of Sunbird Hotels Limited, on Friday opened doors of its new cabin restaurant and bar at the Chileka International Airport.
It replaces the old marquee where the firm has been operating for the past five years.
Catering Solutions General Manager, Thumbiko Kondowe, said the facility will offer customers quality services and value for money.
“We expect the restaurant to significantly boost our revenue. We have the best and finest services that would have a huge impact on the business while meeting specific needs of the customers,” Kondowe said.
Chileka Airport Commandant, Dixy Kwatani, said the new establishment will help to improve the airport’s ratings.
“This is a positive development for aviation in general and in particular for Chileka International Airport.
“This facility will be able to improve the image of the airport and make a positive contribution towards social economic development,” he said.
