Tay Grin, Busiswa wrap up 2020 in fashion

EXCLUSIVE PARTY—Tay Grin on song

Rapper Tay Grin and South African musician Busiswa teamed up to give people an exclusive treat, wrapping up 2020 and then welcoming 2021 in grand fashion during an event held at Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre.

The event, organised by Black Rhyno Entertainment led by Tay Grin, started on New Year’s Eve and went all the way to the New Year, with fireworks welcoming 2021.

The year 2020 has been highly dominated by the global pandemic but Tay Grin, Busiswa and others made sure they wrapped with a party thanking God for the gift of life.

Despite being priced at K150,000 for one who would like to sleep at the hotel, K75, 000.00 for a couple and K45, 000.00 for an individual, expectations were high that not many people would patronise the event, but it was the opposite as a good number turned up.

During the event dubbed ‘2020 Wrapped’, fans were entertained with activities which included performances from up-and-coming artists as well as acrobatics before Busiswa and Tay Grin took centre stage.

Tay Grin, who has now been in the music industry for close to 18 years, described the party as one of the most exclusive parties of the year.

He further assured entertainment event-lovers that Black Rhyno Entertainment would host more parties this year.

“2020 Wrapped was the most exclusive party of the year, in my opinion. A lot of people witnessed a different set up of events, because we delivered exactly what we promised. We are going to have more events this year, as we are reaching out to companies that want us to organise events for them,” Tay Grin said.

He said they were willing to work with any other company to plan and execute their events.

“On our own, we will also host more themed parties, shows and concerts,” he said.

Busiswa said she was happy to star in the country once again wrapping up 2020 as well as entering 2021 in style.
