The  Chipapapa and Kanda star Tay Grin, Home Grown African and Bucci are some of the artists billed to perform at the Coca Cola Kuphaka Life to be held at Blantyre Sports Club on Saturday.

The Coca Cola Kuphaka Life has been expanded this year to reach out to more consumers.

According to one of the members of the organising team Talumba Chirwa, the artist list is out and that the three artists have made it in addition to a special guest performer.

The list of the artists was selected by the organisers Coca Cola and that fans have been asked to vote for one artist, who will be included to the three.

“Again we have surprises on the day so we just urge people to come in large numbers and be part of the Kuphaka Life,” Chirwa said.

Chirwa also said the Coca Cola Kuphaka Life soundtrack featuring Home Grown African and produced by Sonye was officially released on www. kuphakalife.mw on Friday and that it has received an overwhelming response.

Last weekend the Coca Cola Kuphaka Life activation teams stormed Blantyre neighbourhoods rallying people to register their teams for different traditional games as well as five-aside soccer.

“Forty teams came to play soccer on Saturday and of those we selected 20. We had a low turnout for games like Fulaye though the teams that came will get a chance to play on Saturday,” he said.

Chirwa also said they were going to tweak the fashion challenge aspect as not everyone understood what it entailed.

“So we will communicate those changes as it has not had a positive response. We want through this platform for the youths to shine in art and sports,” he said.

The first event for Coca Cola Kuphaka Life starts this Saturday before moving on to Lilongwe and Mzuzu in October.

Titha Mbilizi, who is Senior Brands Manager (Non-Alcoholic Beverages), said this year with Coca- Cola Kuphaka Life they are talking about city take over.

“As we said we have extended participation to students and consumers within Lilongwe, Blantyre and Mzuzu giving young people within these cities a fair chance to be part of this annual experience,” Mbilizi said.

She said that they hope to gain more participation and build on the new Coca-Cola campaign, Taste the Feeling, which is incorporated in this year’s Kuphaka Life.

Coca-Cola Kuphaka Life is a platform which was introduced in February 2015
