Tay Grin to perform in USA next month
Rapper Tay Grin is expected to perform in United States of America (USA) next month.
The ‘Chipapapa’ star confirmed the development Tuesday describing it as an opportunity that has come about because of his friends and contacts in Los Angeles, USA, that believe and want to see him expand his reach.
“Since my last visit, they began thinking of ways to make that happen. Calls were made by my dear friend, former mayor of West Hollywood John Heilman, and a spot was secured to perform at the iconic Hollywood venue, the Whisky, a place where legends such as The Beatles, Led Zeplin and many more greats have performed,” Tay Grin said.
He said he was prepared with his team.
“Last year, I was awarded Best Live Act and I intend to take that energy to USA. It is my desire to fly to America with my entire team, my traditional dancers and drummers because I want to go to America to showcase our beautiful Malawian culture and music,” the rapper said.
He called for support from various players to help facilitate the trip.
Tay Grin Agency Representation, Karen Osborn, confirmed that there is an agreement between Tay Grin and Whisky A Go Go on the show.
