Ugandan comedian Teacher Mpamire will jet in the country today ahead of his Malawi tour that will see him holding three shows.
The first show for the Ugandan—who will share the stage with the country’s stars in musician and comedian Patience Namadingo, stand-up comedian Nya Uyu as well as musician Faith Mussa—is scheduled for Sunbird Mzuzu Hotel on Friday.
The second show is on Saturday at Sunbird Capital in Lilongwe, with the last outing at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre on Sunday.
“All is set for the shows in Mzuzu, Lilongwe and Blantyre. Teacher Mpamire is ready and so is Faith Mussa, Patience Namadingo and Nya Uyu. It will be fire, moto bwekabweka,” Qoncept Creatives’ Creative Director Q Malewezi said Monday.
Sunbird Hotels and Resorts has partnered Qoncept Creatives to host Mpamires.
Qoncept Creatives has been vibrant in terms of hosting top class events and has attracted several international acts.
This is not the first time for Mpamire, real name Herbert Ssegujja, to perform in the country as he starred in the country in 2017 courtesy of MultiChoice Malawi, where he shared the stage with fellow Ugandan comedians Cotilda Inapo and Annie Kansiime.
A high school teacher, actor and comedian, Mpamire is famous for mimicking Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni.
