Technical glitch hits NBS deposits
Financial institution, NBS Bank, has apologised to its customers over a technical problem the bank experienced last week, which led to duplication of deposits in the accounts of the bank’s customers.
Over the past week, people took to social media to caution each other against using the deposits.
NBS Commercial Marketing Officer, Phillip Madinga, admitted the bank had a technical hitch and that it is working on it.
“On behalf of the bank, I apologise to all our customers, who experienced this technical hitch and I would also like to thank them for being understanding and patient. Our technicians are working on the problem and we assure our customers that the issue will be resolved soon,” he said.
Madinga said, going forward, customers of the bank should expect improved service delivery as the bank is working on several projects to enhance its services.
“More digitised services the bank has introduced and those that we are yet to unveil will assist to minimise occurrences like these. In 2018, our customers should expect nothing short of superior services from NBS Bank.
“Our aim is to become the top bank in the country and we are optimistic that we are going to achieve this dream,” he said.
