Tendai Shaba comes out with new poetry
Lilongwe-based poet Tendai Shaba has released a new poetry album which was made available Sunday on tendaishaba.com and worldwide.
The album God is Good has been produced by Shaba, Graiton Pasanje, Lulu, Steven Kamdonyo and Goma Nyondo.
Tendai said the album was recorded in Blantyre and Lilongwe from March to April 2021.
“The album features music guests such as Dan Lu, Lulu, GD, Goma Nyondo, Chisomo Chimoto and it honuours the legendary Chitheka Family and the late Wambali Mkandawire,” he said.
He said the album has eight songs which include ‘Intro’ produced by GD, ‘God is Good’ produced by Tendai and GD, ‘Certificate of Fitness’ produced by Tendai and GD and ‘The Honeybee to My Sunflower’ produced by Lulu.
The others are ‘God is Bigger than Your Problems featuring Dan Lu, ‘Revival’ featuring Nyondo, honouring Wambali Mkandawire’ and ‘Powerful Prayer’ featuring Chimoto and honouring Chitheka Family.
Tendai, who has also been instrumental in uplifting talent in the country working with among others, Galang’ombe Boys, said there, is more to come from him.
