The just shall live by faith

By Bishop Mark Kambalazaza:

What is faith?

Today, we look at the woman who knew how to speak and establish the faith through believing and speaking. She had 12 years of unanswered prayer without any healing in sight. Let us read.

There was a woman who had suffered terribly from severe bleeding for 12 years, even though she had been treated by many doctors. She had spent all her money, but instead of getting better, her condition got worse. She had heard about Jesus, so she came in the crowd behind him. – Mark 5:25-27.

All this time, the woman never believed and did not speak faith and she suffered heavily. Long at last after hearing of the healing Lord Jesus, she became bold enough by defying Jewish law never to walk in that state and she established her believing and speaking faith. This is how she said and did it.

She said to herself: “If I just touch his clothes, I will get well.” – Mark 5:28

This is believing in the Lord Jesus and speaking faith to get results. God hears spoken and established faith. Worries don’t apply in the field of faith. Actually those who grumble and mumble lose out in the field of faith.

After believing and speaking, she acted her faith by touching the Lord and then the long awaited miracle took place. Hallelujah! The Lord Jesus asked the faith question: “Who touched me by faith?”

She touched his cloak, and her bleeding stopped at once; and she had the feeling inside herself that she was healed of her trouble. At once, Jesus knew that power had gone out of him, so he turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” – Mark 5:29-30.

True faith and miracle also testifies what the Lord Jesus has done. She never hid but came out and explained what had happened. She trembled because nobody can steal from God without being exposed. The Lord knew it and wanted to teach us today to testify.

The woman realised what had happened to her, so she came, trembling with fear, knelt at his feet, and told him the whole truth. Jesus said to her: “My daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your trouble.” – Mark 5:33-34.

And the Lord Jesus declared her complete healing. “My daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your trouble.”

She was completely set free!

Many who touched the Lord Jesus without spoken faith saw nothing and received nothing as well. You touch God by faith and not by worries. Do you have that faith?

I have heard many today who say “that I said this before the Lord Jesus and upon coming, here the Lord has done it”. Spoken faith in good faith misses no target. May the words you speak be full of faith in Jesus Name.

Prayer: My loving Abba Father, grant me that spoken faith to get results from you. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen!

God bless your day as you seek and save the lost and as you pray for the confession and healing of the nations.
