Thoko Suya brings Easter Hymns Night

Easter is here again. It is time when Christians around the world commemorate the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In celebration, gospel musician Thoko Suya has organised a Hymns Night on Good Friday to be held at Times Entertainment Studios in Blantyre.
Suya, who has previously held successful Hymn Nights, hailed Times Group through Times Television for partnering her to host the Hymn Night.
“This event is open to 80 people to physically attend at a fee of K5,000 per couple and K3,000 single. The significance of this event is that it will provide people with an opportunity to reflect spiritually as they enjoy messages in the Hymns selection,” the ‘Amandikonda’ creator said.
Suya said despite being a Hymns Night, she will also take time to dish out her own compositions.
“So far so good, in terms of preparations, and I am looking forward to this great night. This is a great family time and I encourage people to buy tickets in advance as space is limited,” she said.
Times Group Chief Commercial Manager Ralph Chirwa said they were happy to partner Suya in hosting the Hymns Night to give people a treat during this Easter period.
“We want to give people something different during this Easter period. It is even great in that it is a Hymns Night and people will be treated to hymns,” Chirwa said.
