Veteran musician Paul Banda will on Sunday perform at Premier Lodge in Blantyre for the first time sharing the stage with forgotten artist Thomas Chibade and ‘Mukandipepesele’ star DNA.
Before the Premier Lodge show, Paul will also perform at Mibawa Multipurpose Hall tomorrow.
The two shows have been organised by Anthu Ambiri in collaboration with Mibawa.
“These shows will give people something different. We have DNA a youthful artist doing well, Thomas Chibade, who has been out of the picture for some time and then the legend himself Paul Banda,” said Zachariah Jezzman, who is Anthu Ambiri Director.
Apart from Paul, Chibade and DNA, the two shows will also feature Rod Valamanja and Kaka.
Paul said he was prepared for the shows.
“It will be the first time to perform at Premier Lodge. I have never been to the place. It was actually DNA who came up with the suggestion,” said the ‘Malilime’ star.
Jezzman said the three shows will appeal to all the people.
“Apart from the two shows in Blantyre, we also have another show at Small Ville in Mulanje. We want to organise more shows because people have not seen enough of Paul Banda, Thomas Chibade and DNA,” Jezzman said.
