Times Studios readies for Pre- Mothers’ Day concert

It is three acts and one stage tonight as Times Entertainment Studios in Blantyre hosts a Pre- Mothers’ Day concert.
Ahead of Mothers’ Day Friday, Times Group decided to give mothers a treat by engaging three amazing gospel musicians in Chigo Grace, Apostle Enesia Chitheka Louis and Ethel Kamwendo Banda.
Times Group Commercial Manager Alfred Kanjere said they were overwhelmed with the response from people and that they were looking forward to an exciting night full of gospel vibes.
“The aim of the show basically is to celebrate mothers. This is why we thought of bringing together these three artists, who are all mothers,” Kanjere said.
He said the concert was catering for all groups of mothers, young and old, hence having the three.
“We call upon people to come with their mothers and enjoy this special concert,” Kanjere said.
Chigo Grace said Wednesday people gracing the show will get the best of gospel music.
“Mothers deserve to be celebrated for they play a crucial role in families and society,” the singer said.
Kamwendo Banda, famed for tracks such as ‘Ndiumboni,’ said she was looking forward to the concert.
“The month of October is special because we celebrate our mothers for the work they do. We need to celebrate them and having this concert is great,” she said.
Apostle Enesia Chitheka Louis said the concert is timely and that it aims at thanking all mothers for the work they do.
She said she was prepared for the concert.
“We will sing songs of praise and worship. Through the concert, we will be appreciating God and enjoy the time live together on Times,” Apostle Chitheka Louis said.
