TNM dangles K1 million
One TNM Mpamba agent stands a chance to win K1 million when the integrated mobile and internet service provider, TNM, conducts the final draw of its “Katamu katamu ” promotion aimed at rewarding the agents for their support in promoting mobile money transfers and strengthening financial inclusion in the country.
Speaking during the eighth draw, TNM Senior Manager—Public Relations, Akossa Hiwa said TNM is ready for the grand draw, and encouraged Mpamba agents to transact more and stand a chance of winning the grand price.
“We are happy with the response from our agents but as the promotion is coming to an end on June 30, I would like to urge the agents to keep making more transactions as much as the grand prize is still up for grabs in these remaining days,” she said.
Hiwa said since the launch of the promotion in March, the company has given out over K4.8 million cash to 64 agents across its four operating regions.
‘Every fortnight, we are giving out K100,000 each to four agents and another K50,000 each to other four agents drawn from TNM’s operating regions,” she said.
To qualify for the fortnightly prizes, TNM Mpamba agents are required to carry out a minimum of 150 transactions in a week. These transactions include either redeeming token, facilitating cash in or facilitating cash out.
Apart from the grand draw, TNM will also conduct fortnightly draws, where four lucky agents, one from each region will walk away with K100,000 and other four K50,000 each.
