TNM hosts Zomba golfers
Mobile phone service provider, TNM, is set to host over 84 golfers in the company’s second golf tournament of the year at Gymkhana Club in Zomba Saturday.
TNM Chief Officer (Enterprise Services), Vishwajeet Deshmukh, said the tournament is a way of showcasing commitment to the development of golf.
“During the Malawi Open golf tournament in Lilongwe, we promised our esteemed golfers that we would come back with another superb tournament in a bid to improve the sport in the country. So we are back to fulfill our commitment,” Deshmukh said.
Deshmukh said the tournament is a continuation of TNM’s interaction with customers to strengthen the existing cordial relationship through digital applications.
“Through the tournament, we will interact with customers and reinforce understanding on Digital Transformation. These digital applications are promoting business efficiency in a quest to suit the current market environment,” Deshmukh added.
He further said TNM is excited to bring yet another episode of golf after recently celebrating 10 years of uninterrupted golf sponsorship in the country.
Apart from the winners’ prizes, TNM has set aside the newly-launched Samsung S8 handset for the hole-in-one challenge during the tournament.
Last year, Charles Mukiwa and Bose Kamphulusa emerged winners in the men’s and women’s categories respectively during the same event.
