Super League sponsor, TNM’s official, Limbani Nsapato, has said they are thrilled with the 2016 unpredictable championship race.
Mafco top the 16-member log table with 44 points but the championship race is wide open with top six teams
Silver Strikers and holders, Nyasa Big Bullets, are second and third, respectively, with 43 points each whereas fourth-placed Blue Eagles have 42 points.
“We are remaining with some weeks to wind up the league, but with teams remaining with six games, some teams seven and others eight, one cannot tell which team can be crowned champions this year,” Nsapato said.
“A difference of a point or two between the teams is a sign of determination and hard work by all the teams to grab the K15 million grand prize for the champion.”
