TNM Mpamba partners Sand Music Festival

In its quest to propel the creative sector in the country, mobile company, TNM has renewed its relationship with Sand Music Festival as communication and ticketing partner.
In a press statement, TNM says, through its Mpamba platform, it will enable this year’s festival goers to buy and redeem their physical tickets at designated TNM shops.
TNM Mpamba General Manager Chris Sukasuka said TNM Mpamba’s idea is to appreciate customers and demonstrate that TNM is a smart network that is part of their social and cultural life.
“Our hope is that this partnership will enhance ticket access convenience and support the event budget,” Sukasuka said.
Sand Music Festival Lead Coordnator Nkhwachi Mhango applauded TNM for the gesture, saying TNM Mpamba will help improve ticket sales’ accountability and cushion the event’s budgetary needs.
He said customers started purchasing tickets at a discounted price of K30,000 from September 3 to 8 when the promotion ended.
At the moment, customers are buying tickets at K35,000 for the three-day event.
Sand Music Festival, in its 11th edition, will be held at Sunbird Nkopola in Mangochi District, with over 40 local artists set to perform.
The festival is also set to be treated to international acts performances, including Jamaica’s Gramps Morgan, Nigeria’s Mr P and South African artists Sipho Makhabane and Makhadzi.
