TNM rewards fans in Zampira draw

Super League sponsor TNM plc has expressed satisfaction with results of the first draw of Zampira Promotion, which was launched a week ago.

During the draw, several lucky winners went away with cash and airtime prizes for correctly predicting results of Super League matches.


The draw saw four fans walking away with K50,000 cash each while 100 others won 2,000 worth of airtime.

TNM Head of Brand and Marketing Communications Madalitso Jonazi described the fans’ response as overwhelming.

“We are very encouraged with the support that we have received from our customers. We are encouraged that, as at now, about 100,000 customers are participating in different components of the promotion.


“The response shows that people have embraced the promotion which has come with several components this time,” Jonazi said.

One of the winners, Tobias Elephant of Mangochi, was, however, in doubt when TNM officials called to inform him about the good news, mistaking it for a bogus competition by some fraudsters.

The promotion’s monthly winner will be getting K2 million, which will be split into two.

K1 million will go to the winner for personal use, with the other K1 million being donated to a social team from one’s community.

The promotion has a daily SMS trivia question component in order to enhance supporters’ understanding of the game.

Winners will continue to pocket K50,000 for the competition’s entire eight-month period.
