TNM winds up Katamu Katamu promotion

Mobile service provider TNM Limited on Tuesday conducted the grand draw of its just ended Katamu Katamu promotion.

The promotion which has been running for three months, aimed at rewarding Mpamba agents across the country for their important role in promoting mobile money and strengthening financial inclusion.

During the final draw Lwitiko Mwakasungula emerged the lucky winner of a K1 million grand prize.

Speaking after the draw, TNM Head of Mobile Money, Chikhulupiliro Mphatso, said the promotion received an overwhelming response from the agents.

He said the promotion has contributed to the growth of Mpamba and increased customer transactions to over 10 million during the promotion period.

“The promotion was particular to Mpamba agents as one way of incentivising their role and empowering their businesses.

“I am sure the millionaire we have made today will now be able to transact more and more without running low as this comes as a seasonal boost to his electronic value,” Mphatso said.

Throughout the promotion period, TNM gave out over K5.4 million to 72 agents across its four operating regions.
