The judges for the Top 10 show to be produced by Times Television are musicians Patience Namadingo, Rina and Theo Thomson.

The trio has a huge task on Sunday to select the best five, who will then compete during the national final slated for Lilongwe on May 6, 2016.

The winner during the national final will represent Malawi at the pan African contest to be held in Nigeria.

Last year’s winner was Sam Mjura Mkandawire, who received K14 million and went on to fly the country’s flag but he came sixth on the pan African contest.

This year on the local front, the winner will walk away with K10 million with second and third places pocketing K3 million and K2 million respectively.

The official mentor for the competition’s season II is US singer Keri Hilson.

Meanwhile Times Group Chief Commercial Manager Dumisani Ngulube has said all is set for the Top 10 show which will take place in the afternoon on Sunday.

“We are prepared for Top 10 and as we draw closer to the show, we have several give aways from Airtel and all we are saying is people should watch urban trend programme where Annie Matumbi is asking questions and then visit our Facebook page to answer and stand a chance to win different branded items from Airtel Malawi,” he said.

Trace Country Coordinator (Malawi) Annie Chisala said on Sunday that they were very excited with the overwhelming response they have received in Season II and that the entries were of top quality.
