Total appoints lube distributor
Total Malawi has appointed CEP Energy official distributor of its full range of lubricants. CEP Energy is a newly incorporated business owned by Malawians.
Total Malawi Managing Director, Seggie Kistasamy, said CEP was chosen for its industry knowledge and readiness to support Total’s commitment to provide eco-friendly services to the public.
Kistasamy was speaking in Blantyre on Thursday when CEP Energy was officially unveiled as Total’s Lubricants distributor.
“We wanted a partner who will respect our commitment to better energy, making sure that products are disposed responsibly. Total is a responsible oil company and our services cannot be matched by any player on the market,” he said.
Managing Director of CEP Energy, Elliot Chunda, said the partnership will ensure that Total products are readily available on the market and that customers get easy access to them.
“Our leverage is the experience we have in the lubricants industry to help customers make the right choices,” he said.
CEP Energy becomes the first official distributor for Total lubricants since the company started its operations in the country 50 years ago.
