By Sharon Chirwa:
Car dealer, Toyota Malawi, has touted efficiency of its Hino brand, rating it as ideal for the local market.
The Hino brand is expanding its footprints on the African market.
Toyota Malawi has reiterated its commitment to providing a range of products as services to its local clientele.
Speaking during the Hino Cross Country Tour 2019 cocktail in Blantyre Tuesday night, Toyota Malawi Managing Director, Kennedy Kabaghe, said the tour had the necessary response they needed.
“The Cross Country, which started in South Africa, then Zimbabwe, Zambia, now in Malawi before heading to Mozambique, was aimed at raising awareness on the truck side of our business, which is the Hino product”, Kabaghe said

Kabaghe said the company was committed to satisfying customer needs.
“With each sale, we listen to the customer, check what they want to use the product for and align it to their business. If the client is not ready to invest immediately, we will structure a deal with them so that they can plan on how to invest in these trucks so as not to feel the impact at the same time”, he further said.
Toyota Malawi National Sales and Marketing Manager, Newton Kasililika-Mlagha, said the trucks also presented a cost effective means of transportation.
“The way the trucks are driven can reduce the costs incurred. We will take the drivers through the necessary training so that they avoid unnecessary wear and tear and also make sure they save fuel”, Kasililika-Mlagha said.
He said the trucks were eco-friendly and, so far, over 150 were being serviced in Malawi.
