Toyota Malawi Monday unveiled Toyota Land Cruiser (LC) 300 on the local market.
This comes 14 years after the Land Cruiser 200 was launched.
The new LC 300 has cutting edge technology, billed to give those who would ride it the best experience in a modern car.
Toyota Malawi National Sales and Marketing Manager Newton Kasililika-Mlagha said the car is a special edition to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Toyota Landcruiser.
“The LC 300 comes 14 years after the production of the LC 200 and has been reshaped by merging cutting-edge technologies with information that has accumulated over many years which allows for drivers to drive on any kind of road and giving them 6 driving mode, a technology that could not wait for the pandemic to end for it to be released,” Kasililika-Mlagha said.
He expressed optimism that, amid reduction of sales and production due to the Covid pandemic, business was poised to get back to normal.
Toyota Malawi National Service Manager Johannes Heydenreich rated the new Land Cruiser as a game-changer.
