Trevor Kajawa shrugs off crisis talk

Premier Bet Wizards Coach, Trevor Kajawa, has insisted that his team is not in crisis.

Wizards, who have lost seven of their last eight TNM Super League games, are stuck on position 12 with 19 points from 18 games.

“We started well in the first-round and we have had a bad start to the final round. We still have hopes of finishing in the top-eight. If we fail to achieve this, then it will be our own making,” Kajawa said.

“These are the same players who did well in the first-round. We just have to work on one or two problems, but I assure you that the team will be back [to winning ways].”

Wizards started the season on a high and went top of the table for some weeks, before sliding down the table.

Some 35 points are considered the safety zone from relegation in the top-flight league.
