Three players have terminated their respective deals with TNM Super League champions Nyasa Big Bullets few days before the start of the season.
The three are midfielders Paul Kasungwi, Ben Manyozo and striker Luke Chima.
Bullets Chief Administrator Albert Chigoga confirmed that the players left the club on mutual consent.
“We have agreed with the player (Manyozo) to terminate his contract. Luke as well as Paul have also left the club,” Chigoga said.
All the three players were struggling for game time at Bullets last season.
Manyozo, who joined Bullets from relegated Dwangwa United in 2011, is eyeing a move to Blue Eagles.
Chima joined Bullets from Mighty Tigers in 2019 whereas Kasungwi joined Bullets from Red Lions at the start of the 2021 season.
The departure of the three players means Bullets have lost 11 players from last season’s squad which defended the TNM Super League title and won their first ever Airtel Top 8 Cup.
Early this month, Bullets released eight players namely Sankhani Mkandawire, Chimango Kayira, Chiukepo Msowoya, Bright Munthali, Nelson Kangunje, Zicco Mkanda, Dalitso Sailesi and Pilirani Zonda.
Meanwhile, Kayira has signed a one-year deal with Mozambican side Associacao Desportiva de Vilankulo.
When contacted Friday, Kayira could neither deny nor confirm as he was attending to other important issues.
Kayira also had stints with Mocambola League giants Costa do Sol but returned home after the expiry of his deal in 2016.
Before his move to Mozambique, he played for defunct Escom United.
