Two fans earn La Liga ticket
Football supporters Kondwani Kandonga and William Chisulo of Mzuzu will watch live a La Liga match involving Spanish giants Real Madrid after emerging lucky winners in Pokopoko ndi Zampira Promotion.
TNM, which runs the promotion, conducted the draw at its headquarters in Blantyre on Tuesday.
“It is a dream come true. I thank TNM for running this promotion to reward supporters,” 24-year-old Kandonga a Be Forward Wanderers’ fan, said.
TNM Brand and Communications Manager, Limbani Nsapato, said the trip to Spain would give fans the best experience.
“The role of TNM, as a soccer-passionate brand, is to develop football on and off the pitch through TNM Super League. The trip to Spain would give customers and soccer fans a rare experience of the local league in Malawi and La Liga,” he said.
Nsapato said TNM had invested in local fans to amplify football and reward them for their role in making the local league vibrant.
He said the trip will cost TNM K10 million.
Meanwhile, TNM, in collaboration with Super League of Malawi, has shortlisted players— Chifuniro Mpinganjira (Dwangwa United), Muhammad Sulumba (Civil Sporting Club), Peter Banda (Nyasa Big Bullets), China Chirwa (TN Stars) and Ndaona Daisi (Kamuzu Barracks) to be voted for in Supporters’ Player of the Month award.
