Two Nomads to wander in Japan
By Mabvuto Kambuwe:
Be Forward Wanderers have said they are likely to send two players to Japan for trials this year as part of an agreement with their sponsor.
Wanderers Chairperson, Gift Mkandawire, said the players expected to make the move include Stanley Sanudi, Mischeck Botoman and Isaac Kaliati.
“We want to expose more players. We believe the nation will benefit a lot if our stars play in competitive leagues outside Africa,” Mkandawire said.
Wanderers signed an agreement with Be Forward that sees them sending two players to Japan for trials every year.
Joseph Kamwendo and Peter Wadabwa were the first players to try their luck in the Pacific Ocean island nation in 2016 through the agreement
In the following year, Wanderers sent Precious Msosa and Jabulani Linje on a similar mission.
Linje made the grade as he joined YSCC Yokohama on a two-year deal.
