Mozambique giants UD Songo and Zimbabwe Premier League side Dynamos have been earmarked for this year’s Nyasa International Bonanza.
The two-day bonanza is set to take place next month with Nyasa Big Bullets and Be Forward Wanderers set to play against the two foreign teams.
Bullets Business Development Manager, Kelvin Moyo, said discussions with Songo and Dynamos to play in the Bonanza were at an advanced stage.
Moyo believes that Songo and Dynamos will make the bonanza more competitive as they also play in Caf competitions.
He said they will confirm actual dates of the bonanza after getting response from Football Association of Malawi (Fam).
“The discussions are almost through. We are planning to have the tournament on February 28 and 29 but we will hold press briefing on this as the football season kicks off on March 14,” he said.
Ferroviario de Nampula of Mozambique and Zimbabwe’s Chicken Inn took part in last year’s edition of the bonanza.
Ferroviario emerged winners of the pre-season tournament after amassing four points from three games.
