In the 30-member provisional squad, Phiri has drafted Silver Strikers’ Levison Maganizo and Mark Fodya, Azam Tigers’ goalkeeper, William Thole, Premier Bet Wizards’ Trevor Kalema, Patrick Phiri, Edwin Carlo, Kondwani Mwaila of MTV Max Bullets and Nyasa Big Bullets’ Mike Mkwate.

The coaching panel has also promoted from the Under-17 squad Banda, Francisco Madinga, Hastings Banda and Captain, Hadji Wali, who travelled to the Under-17 Cosafa tournament in Mauritius recently.

Phiri said preparations have started on a high with the process of trimming the squad underway.

Phiri said all the players in camp were scrutinised and they were born on and after January 1 1998.
