Former DD Sunshine attacker Tabitha Chawinga is on course to win a golden boot award in Sweden when she struck a hat-trick in a 3-0 victory over Kungsbacka DFF on Sunday.
Chawinga is the current leading goal scorer with 24 goals in the Elitettan League, eight ahead of second-placed Mia Jalkerud of Djurgardens.

She hammered two goals in the first half before completing her hat-trick in the second half.
Kvarnvedens are still at the top of the log table with 41points from 16 games, eight ahead of second-placed Djurgardens, who dropped points after they were held to a one-all draw on the same day.
However, Durgardens have played 15 games in the league.
If Kvarnsvedens win the Swedish second-tier league, DD Sushine, Chawinga’s former employers will receive $2000 (about K900,000) bonus.
DD Sunshine di r e c tor David Dube heaped praise on Chawinga, saying her perfomance in Sweden would be a window of opportunity for Malawian footballers.
“I think she has proved everyone that Malawi has talented women footballers, who can shine on the international scene,” said Dube yesterday.
Last season, Chawinga finished as the top goal scorer with 38 goals while playing for Swedish third-tier side Krokom/ Dvasartts.
