“Having entered 2020 and a new decade, and on UMP’s 10th anniversary, we thought of looking back at the most successful 10 years of Malawi urban music and culture honouring the best in several categories,” Zizwa said.

The Best of Decades honours also follows the 2019 UMP Blended Edition held in Blantyre recently which saw them decorating players in music, fashion and media.

The 2019 Blended Edition saw musician Wikise dominating the proceedings in the music category scooping Artist of the Year and Song of the Year awards out of the three nominations that he received.
