Lilongwe-based musician has temporarily switched focus on music and turned to business to make ends meet.
The artist admitted that life has been hard for the creative sector with Covid and that in the absence of shows the situation has not been good.
“l have had to adapt and just change focus a bit. I have been in the streets selling sausages and clothes as a means of survival,” Vube said.
He said the pandemic has also changed the way he sees things.
“l would like to encourage everyone who is working or doing music or even sports to at least invest when they get money,” Vube said.
He said he has not given up on music adding that he recently released a new track titled ‘Phone’.
“This song was inspired by what is going around in our communities, for instance face to face conversations are no longer interesting as people are always busy on their phones,” Vube said.
The track was produced by Chux and TruChip while the video was directed by VJ Rude.
