ATTACKING midfielder Jafali Chande’s first-half goal handed Be Forwar

d Wanderers a 1-0 win over Mzuni FC in a TNM Super League match at Mzuzu Stadium yesterday.

The win took Nomads back to the summit of the 16-member log table with 34 points from 14 games, two points ahead of displaced leaders Silver Strikers.

Wanderers and Silver will meet later to wind up the first-round. Silver were not in action over the weekend.

The Nomads had a successful outing in Mzuzu where they also defeated Moyale Barracks 3-2 on post-match penalties the previous day at the same venue.
