‘We are ready with Kajive Season Four’

Times’ Group Commercial Manager Lusayo Msukwa has said the – Ka Jive Season Four dancing competition is ready despite date shift.
The competition was expected to start with auditions last weekend however has been shifted to next month.
“Everything is in black and white only that we want to make sure that we begin on a high note and finish on a high note. As we indicated last time, this year’s contest will be bigger and better and there is more to offer,” he said.
He maintained that apart from offering entertainment, Ka Jive aims at unearthing dancing talent.
“There is so much talent out there as regards dancing and so through this competition driven by Times Group through Times Television, we want to offer this platform,” he said.
Since the competition started, it has attracted a lot of interest from young people, who have come out to showcase their dancing moves.
Msukwa said the dance competition was also part of their desire to help uplift the arts industry in the country.
He said they have received a lot of participants in Season Four.
“More groups have registered and this is a clear indication that they love this competition and that they missed it,” Msukwa said.
The auditions will take place at Times Group’s entertainment studios in Blantyre.
Over the past seasons, the competition has unearthed a number of groups which have gone on to be hired by various companies and they include Floor Steppers, Salama Africa Dance Crew , Metics Dance Crew and M-Dub Dance Crew.
Msukwa said they will also be bringing some of the previous groups to perform at the contest as well as other artists.
M-Dub Crew are the winners of the previous season.
